An Insightful Post on a Recent Case

Ted Folkman has a post over at Letters Blogatory discussing a case – CDM Smith v. Atasi – decided by the Federal District Court for the District of of Massachusetts in March 2022. The court first considers whether a judgment rendered by the labor courts of Saudi Arabia is enforceable in Massachusetts. It then goes on to examine which of the plaintiff’s claims are covered by an exclusive forum selection clause selecting the courts of Saudi Arabia. Ted provides a thoughtful analysis of both issues.
