Alexander W. Preve (@alexanderwpreve) is a Litigation Associate at Coblentz Patch Duffy & Bass LLP. Prior to joining Coblentz, he served as a law clerk for the Honorable Edward M. Chen of the United States District Court for the Northern District of California. Mr. Preve received his J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School, where he served as an Articles Editor on the Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law. Mr. Preve writes on international criminal law, international human rights law, and national security law. His Note, Crisis and Complicity: An Analysis of U.S. Support for Saudi Coalition Airstrikes Under the Law of Aiding and Abetting (Alleged) War Crimes, was published in the Georgetown Journal of International Law. He received his B.A. in Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia.
