Haley Anderson is an Academic Fellow and Lecturer in Law at Columbia Law School. Haley’s scholarship investigates the concept of sovereignty in civil procedure, international law, and political theory. Her current research interests include jurisdiction, immunity, and state responsibility.

Haley received her B.A. with highest distinction from the University of Virginia and her J.D. from New York University School of Law, where she was a managing editor of the N.Y.U. Law Review, a scholar at the Institute of International Law and Justice, and the recipient of the John Bruce Moore Award for excellence in law and philosophy. She is currently a Ph.D. Candidate in Jurisprudence and Social Policy at the University of California Berkeley and a Postgraduate Fellow at Just Security.
