William K. McGoughran is a 3L at Vanderbilt Law School and Judicial Clerk to Judge Richard A. Hertling of the Court of Federal Claims. He was the 2024-2025 Editor in Chief of the Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law and President of the International Law Society at VLS. William graduated summa cum laude from Anna Maria College with a B.A. in Law and Society. Prior to law school, he worked as a paralegal for Pabian Law, an immigration law firm in Boston, MA. William has interned at Guernica 37, a barrister’s chamber in London, UK, that focuses on international human rights and will intern this summer with the Department of Homeland Security’s Human Rights Violator and War Crimes Center.
