Haoxiang Ruan is a second-year doctoral student at Renmin University of China Law School and works as an editor for the Renmin University Law Review. His doctoral research focuses on international civil litigation and international family law. Haoxiang holds a bachelor’s degree in law from China University of Political Science and Law and a master’s degree in law from National Chengchi University in Taiwan, China. While there, he wrote a thesis on conflict of laws issues arising from cross-border surrogacy agreements. Haoxiang worked as an intern at the Supreme People’s Court of The People’s Republic of China and at the Arbitration Center Across the Straits.
