Laynie Barringer

Laynie Barringer is a Housing Attorney with Bread for the City, where she advocates for low-income residents of Washington, DC to have access to food, clothing, housing, medical care, and legal and social services to reduce the burden of poverty. Prior to law school, Laynie worked on a publication promoting criminal justice, healthcare, and educational reform in the state of Alabama. Laynie graduated from Auburn University with a B.A. in Psychology and Political Science. She earned her J.D. with a concentration in International Law from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law where she served as a Managing Editor of the Northwestern University Law Review.
